A Simpson's THOH Transformation Story.

Carl is sitting at the bar in Moe's tavern not really drinking a beer when Moe who is leaning behind the bar notices and turns to him.

"Heh Carl. What's up? Are yous just moping because Lenny ain't here? Co's you know I'm sure he'll turn up he's almost always here on week nights." Moe said trying to make Carl feel better. Meanwhile Barney and the rest of the bar flies continue to slowly drink their beer and Carl just sighs before replying to Moe.

"I guess I'm just worried you know. But it's really not the same without Lenny and Homer. Come to think of it where is old baldy anyway? Since when did he not go drinking here after work? Ah something is fishy here I can tell ya." Carl says before taking another swig of his beer from a pitcher.

Moe is about to respond when there is a noise of a car pulling up outside the front door of the tavern. Everyone turns around as if to say "Who's there?" and suddenly Lenny comes running in and whispers something to Carl.

"Heh what's so god damned special that you can't say it to me right here anyway?" He asks as Lenny just stands there flapping his wrists. "Oh alright I'll come with you, this place is dead tonight anyway." Carl finishes off his beer and nods to Moe before leaving with Lenny and they get into Lenny's car. Carl decides that now is the time for Lenny to give him some explanation for what is going on.

"Ok now you better explain to me what the hell is going on. I *know* somethings up. You ain't been in all night, Homer's gone god only knows where and I've had about as much as I can take of Barney, Sam and Moe for one night." Carl says to Lenny who still looking worried/excited at the same time.

Lenny composes himself then begins to speak. "Well Carl this is pretty whacky stuff but you gotta listen because this could be big I mean really big bigger than hot pants, the eight track and betamax!" Carl responds by folding his arms. "I knew it there is something going on. How come you never mentioned anything about this at work?" Lenny looks unsure then replies. "I didn't know about it then, I only discovered what happened since I got home and checked my equipment." Carl rolls his eyes. "Oh here we go, you got yourself a police scanner and all of a sudden you think your James Bond. You do realise that whatever it is the cops probably have it under control by now? Right?"

Lenny still carries on talking excitedly. "No Carl, seriously. This is bigger than anything the police can just handle. Ok explanation time. Basically a cargo aircraft with some very rare valuable artefacts exploded directly over Springfield. But get this these artefacts, rings I think they are. They're supposed to be magical! They can transform people and if you get all of them they can grant wishes!" says Lenny looking at a decidedly sceptical Carl for validation.

Carl shakes his head. "Look Lenny, I don't go in for non of this hockus pokus junk but those artefacts could be valuable. We ought to try and find some of them, best case scenario we sell em back to their owners worst case we stick em on e-bay. Either way we'll be in the money." he states looking at a disappointed Lenny.

"Well whatever Carl, but I'm telling you there's something strange about these rings. They aren't just any old random treasure. Anyway either way we could get rich off this so what do you say?" Lenny asks.

"Yeah sure lets go find em, why not otherwise we'll just waste another night getting drunk and pulling Barney out of the toilet. I'm sure Moe can do that by himself." Carl replied as Lenny started the car and they drive off to look for the rings in...
