Vanilla looked in a mirror and found that she had shrunken down to about 1 inch tall. She walked around the living room of her house and saw just how gigantic everything looked from her new point of view. The table and chairs towered miles over her and the sofa looked like a humungous mountain about 20 stories high. At first, Vanilla didn't know whether to feel amazed or terrified at her new surroundings. At her present stature, even the smallest crumb on the floor was as big a huge boulder.

Vanilla wandered around her incredible endless canyon of a living room and began panicking as she realized how much danger she was in at her new size. "Oh my goodness, I don't believe but I've really shrunken to the size of a little ant!" Vanilla said in shock. She ran around the floor in a haste and soon sat down as she couldn't run anymore. After a little while, Vanilla started to calm down and tried to figure out how this could've happened. Vanilla sat down on the floor and pondered what it was that caused her to diminish in size. At first Vanilla's mind was mind was focused on her current situation, but then her concentration faded as soon as she noticed something under the couch. Vanilla walked under the couch and found that it was she thought she'd lost ages ago. It was the old thimble that she used to wear while she was knitting. "What's this? My thimble! So thats where it went." Vanilla said with joy. At Vanilla's current height, the thimble almost seemed like an igloo to her. She rolled it out from under the couch and dusted it off. Vanilla then pushed the thimble right side up with her under it and was trapped under the thimble like a parrot trapped in its cage. As Vanilla laid under her thimble, she started getting a strange feeling. It was like she was under a safe barrier that would protect her from danger. Vanilla subsequently lifted the thimble up and continued her "little" stroll around the living room. After a while, Vanilla was getting used to being tiny and it didn't feel so bad anymore.

However, all of Vanilla's good feelings rushed to an end as she felt the ground shaking. "What is that an earthquake?" Vanilla said in fear. It wasn't really an earthquake but it certainly felt like one. Vanilla heard some booming noises coming right from the front door. The booming grew louder and louder with each passing second. Vanilla lost her balance and fell on her back as the rumbling continued. Soon the door opened and to Vanilla's horror, it was none other than her daughter Cream and her little Chao friend Cheese returning from home from their visit to Amy's house. "Mom, we're home." Cream said cheerfully as she and Cheese entered the house and were surprised to see nobody there to return her greeting. Vanilla was paralyzed with terror as she her once little daughter towering over her. To Vanilla, Cream looked like an enormous monster that could instantly crush her with one step of her colossal orange shoes. As Cream and Cheese started heading toward the living room, Vanilla was terrified as she saw her mighty daughter coming right for her with her enormous shoes waiting to crush her into a paste. Vanilla had only two choices available to her at the moment. Either she should run as fast as she can and move out of the way before she gets squished or stay there and try to get her daughter's attention.
