Kevin's raises his foot and I can honestly say I've never seen a more terrifying sight than the sock-covered sole of my very-recently-exed-boyfriend's bus sized foot. The oh so superior smirk on his handsome face only makes it worse.
I try to run but I find my legs are wobbly in sheer terror and I topple onto my backside. "No!" I plead. "What are you doing?"
"What would you do if you saw a bug?" He grins and his toes spread and then wiggle a little. "I'm going to step on you."
There's nothing I can do but scream as his foot lowers down in one smooth motion. Its shadow shrinks around me as it races to meet it, and I close my eyes and my whole body tenses up as I get ready to be stamped out of existence by my boyfriend. But the shattering impact never comes. Instead, his warm, fragrant sock-covered sole settles down on me like a blanket, the sock rough yet soft, and Kevin holds me to the ground. I squirm and he only chuckles.
"That feels good. Like a little massage."
"Go to hell," I try and say, but his all-encompassing sole muffles me.
"Last chance Dani." Kevin intones. "Kiss my foot and I'll let you live. Don't, you get stepped on."
