A familiar ringing noise roused Holly from her food coma. She tried to turn to see what was making it, but found that movement of any kind was pretty difficult. It was was easy to see what was causing that problem. Holly's belly was still enormous, way bigger than it usually was. Holly was trapped under its bloated mass, the extra weight pinning her to her bed. It took the obese teen some effort to sit up on her bed, but she eventually managed it. As she looked down on it, she idly noticed that she wasn't really that hungry at the moment, like she usually was when she woke up.
"I guess Amy was a little more filling than I thought she'd be," Holly mused out loud. She then remembered what she had been doing before her new bigness had distracted her, and Amy looked on her bedside table, where she'd dropped her purse before falling asleep. Fortunately enough, it was within her reach now that she was sitting up, so Holly retrieved it and pulled out her cell phone. Like she suspected, Holly saw one missed call on there, with the caller ID being listed as her friend Christie. She also noticed that Christie appeared to have left a voice mail. Holly felt a little guilty as she heard the concern in her friend's voice. She really should have let Christy know that she was leaving. Then again, leaving had been a pure spur-of-the-moment decision, so she hadn't really thought to look for anyone to say goodbye to. Deciding not to leave Christie hanging, Holly hit the callback button. After two rings, she heard Christie's voice.
"Holly! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Chris," Holly answered. "I just, uh, ate a little too much and had to go home."
"Really? I thought you said that there wasn't such thing as too much food," Christie answered in a slightly teasing tone.
Holly giggled, and replied, "I guess I did say that, huh? Well, I'm fine, I just needed some rest, that's all."
"Okay. Do you want me to come over?" Christie asked.
Holly thought for a moment. On one hand, keeping anything secret from her best friend seemed so very wrong. On the other hand, she wasn't quite sure how the whole "eating a person" thing would go down with Christie, even if the victim had totally deserved it. After making up her mind, Holly answered by saying...
