"Well, it's just a squirrel... how dangerous can it be?" you think and turn around. You look right into the squirrels eyes which is now sitting on its hindpaws just three meters away from you with its eyes fixed on you and its tail twitching.
You try your best to sound as frightening as possible while you shout at the rodent "Ssshhh! Go away! Go and find yourself some nuts!".
The squirrel just cocks its head while your overconfidence slowly fades away. You stop shouting and back off a few steps.
You suddenly remember a documentary about squirrels and several other animals which you once saw on TV. It was said that besides plants and nuts, squirrels also eat insects and even prey on smaller animals from time to time.
You somehow don't like the idea of being caught by a squirrel, so you decide to run away but of course, the squirrel is much faster than you are. It catches up with you with only 2 jumps, pins you down with one of its paws and carefully sniffs at you. It then sits back on its hindpaws again and uses both paws to grab you and lift you up.
Now finding yourself being held right in front of the squirrels mouth, you realize that you really are in big trouble.
Yout start kicking and try to hit the squirrels nose but before you achieve anything with that, the squirrel comes to the decision that you might indeed taste good. It opens its mouth and quickly stuffs you in.
Luckily, it does not use its strong and sharp teeth to chew on you. It seems more interested in tasting you and savouring your flavor. You really can not figure out what it is on your body that the squirrel likes so much.
After some time, you feel a slight lurch as the squirrel lifts its head and then, with you still squirming around in its mouth, it takes a big gulp to swallow you whole.
This must look really funny, you think.... a squirrel catching and gobbling down a tiny human. Well, apparently it is not that funny when you are the human in that case.
You are squeezed into the rodents stomach and feel every movement around you as the squirrel runs off and climbs on a tree. However, this does not last for long. The squirrel finally reaches the tree with its nest where it settles down and while you slowly fall asleep, you still can not belief that of all possible threats in this world, it is a squirrel that now finishes you.
But of course, it does not help and there is nothing you can do. The squirrel completely digests you before it leaves its tree again to look for some nuts or whatever else may cross its way.
