Leon walked away, he could rub Shades maw some other time, preferably when Shade was deep asleep
"What are you doing here so early Leon? Most riders stay up until the light wakes up all the dragons and they can see what they're doing." A voice emanated from somewhere
Leon stopped, looking around "Jeric? Is that you?"
"No, this is Darkness, Jeric is sleeping. But you can see me, just come here" The voice said again, this time coming from Darkness's cave. Leon hesitated before going towards Darkness, Jeric might kill him if he petted his dragon "What's the matter scared? I know you want to see me, you have been itching to do so ever since you saw me cough up my rider when he was too injured to ride. I saw you, you wanted to crawl inside Shade's mouth ever since... and I can arrange that" Darkness hissed in a tone that could dissolve anyones mind. Leon took a step torwards Darkness, he knew him too well, and most of what he said was true. Leon walked towards Darkness "Stop there... that's good, now wait" Leon waited as Darkness stood up, walking towards him and looking at him.
Darkness was another silver dragon (with darker scales, hence his name), slightly longer (80ft long) than Shade and his older brother "Leon, I know what you want, Shade has asked me what he should do with you since we are brothers, and we both have riders that are alike in some ways" Leon nodded, knowing what Darkness meant by him and Jeric being alike "And that is why I needed to speak to you personally, so Shade can fufill your wishes. Now tell me, do I know what you want?" Leon nodded, remembering that Darkness had a habit of observing riders and figuring them out. "I thought so, now listen carefully... most dragons have 2 stomachs, one for fuel, and one for food OR storage, now I suppose you know which one you want, but the trick is to make Shade's digestive juices not come in. It will either take weeks to train so he can do it at will, risk it every time, or drink a potion so they don't activate for a day. Now, which one? Unless I already knew"
