Don't answer it

You ignore the phone, and go about your daily routine. If it's important, whoever it is will call back.

Your day continues uneventfully, until you close up the office and head for the elevator. You've just stepped on when someone else pushes in before the doors close.

It's the robber!

He pushes the emergency stop button on the elevator and turns to you.

"I tried calling this morning, but you didn't pick up."

"How did you..."

"Get out? It's not the first time I've posted bail, sweetheart. Now it's time to make good on my promise."

He moves in and you start to scream.
