The child was wolf-esque in appearance and was growing at an extreme rate! Bowhan panicked. "If I don't get this... thing out of here, it could destroy the building with its size alone!" he said to himself. Bowhan ran out of the building and the town as quickly as he could. Once, he was safe distance from the town he stopped and placed the bundled child on the ground and took a better look at it. Already, it had grown to the size of a youth and wasn't showing of stopping its growth.
Bowhan grabbed his sword, and prepared to kill the beast. When it opened its eyes, Bowhan saw that they were blue, the same blue as his own eyes. There was no doubt that this was his child. "I can't kill it. It's my child," he told himself, "What should I do?" That's when he remembered a large cave not to far from where he was. "An amarok could live there," he said. He gave the creature a nudge and motioned for it to follow him, which it did.
When they reached the cave, Bowhan turned to the child. It was now as tall as he was, but at least it seemed to have stopped growing. It nuzzled him gently. "Stay here," he told it. The amarok watched him leave, confused. That night, it would never stop howling.
