It was a heavy landing, as the Doctor patted the console. The time rotor slowing and stopping. Checking the displays, he confirmed the arrival. Earth, England, London January 15th 1598.
"We've arrived." Teegan's called out.
"Yes... sorry about the Landing." The doctor called back.
"And are we where we're meant to be?"
"Yes, of course." The doctor snapped back. "Oh ye, of little faith."
"I still trust you." he told the Tardis, caressing the console, and double-checking the details.
"I bloody hope so!" She grumbled, "I don't want to have squeezed into this, and find it's the wrong time, or the wrong place... It is Earth?" she asked.
"Yes..." The doctor hissed, losing a little of his patience. But, as Teegan swept into the console room, the reason was obvious. Her outfit was tailored for the period, but looked tight and uncomfortable.
She looked him over, "You're not changing?!" she snarled. Taking him in with obvious disapproval. Adjusting the celery at his lapel, "Fashion come and go, but style is timeless." he answered sniffily.
