She rematerializes just as she was before, missing her head. Just as you thought it couldn’t get any worse, you hear a pop as the circuit blows, followed by a small hiss.
“Shit! I blew the buffer!”
“And? What does that mean for me? How long will it take to get the components you need?”
“I-I don’t know. Could be a couple weeks, maybe even months. Circuitry of that size isn’t easy to make you know.”
“So you’re saying I’m stuck like this?”
“Y-Yeah, I guess I am.”
