You wake up the next morning to find Lulu giving you a gentle shake. You groan, having just slept on the most uncomfortable bed you've ever slept on, and look at Lulu with exhausted eyes.
“Didn’t sleep well?” Lulu asks with a small stifled chuckle. You groan and look away as you stand up, wiping off your dress on impulse. You walk towards a sink and look into a mirror to see that you had a rather bad case of bed head.
‘Ugh how do women stand having long hair?’ You groan inaudibly to anybody’s ears but your own. Lulu walks up behind you and looks at you in the mirror. You haven’t really taken control of her yet; you really had no reason too, well not at this point at least. Besides if you did you’d probably just let her run on autopilot right now anyway until you'd feel you could work two bodies without drawing suspicion to yourself.
“…Looks like you’ve got a bit of bed head, shall I brush it for you?” Lulu asks as you turn away form your thoughts.
“Huh? Sorry, I wasn’t listening...” You reply, still rather tired. Lulu sighs and raises her hands in the air as she shakes her head.
“Yuna, you need to be more aware of when people are talking, how else will you become a great summoner otherwise?” Lulu explains in a bit of a scolding manner.
“…” You frown and are about to apologize but Lulu stops you.
“But...I suppose, it’s alright, just this once. Now how about we fix that hair of yours?” Lulu asks sincerely. You rub your eyes and nod, taking a seat on the bed from last night. Lulu grabs a comb from a nearby shelf and soon begins brushing your hair. At first it is weird having someone brush your hair for you but you quickly get used to it, and after a few minutes, your hair now looks how it is supposed to. Lulu pulls the comb away one last time and smiles.
"There, much better." Lulu says as she turns away to put the comb away. You look into the mirror from before and smile, you do look a lot better, granted your eyes still seemed exhausted, but you figure you'll take a nap on the boat to Kilika. Lulu soon returns to you, and asks you if you are ready to go yet. You nod and walk with Lulu to join the rest of group up on the pass by the save sphere.
...
A few minutes later, you arrive at the boat to Kilika, having seen Tidus receive his Brotherhood sword from Wakka, as well as his fight with Kimahri. You even preformed your first summoning which made you rather proud of yourself.
“Heh heh!” You chuckle to yourself as you near the boardwalk, recalling the memory. It felt awesome, and you puffed your chest out a bit in triumph when you ordered Valefor to strike the killing blow. Tidus even complimented you which made Yuna’s body blush in response. You yourself didn’t blush but regardless you felt awesome as you strut your stuff down the boardwalk and onto the ship.
After a few more minutes you and the rest of the gang set off, you smile as you walk to the edge of the deck, leaning on the guardrail as you feel the salty air push up against your cheeks. It feels nice, yet, at the same time, it stings a little. You don’t mind, when suddenly, you notice something behind you. You turn around to see several various people, women and children, sailors, ext. all standing before you. They seem to be asking you various questions and also seem to be expecting you to answer them.
“Umm…well I guess…umm” You don’t know what to say, so you decide to let Yuna take over, just like before in the temple of Besaid.
‘I’ll…do my best…for you, Anthony.’ Yuna thoughts reply to you in her usual soft tone. You smile and nod in the midst of switching places as Yuna takes over
…
Several minutes pass, and soon the crowd around you disbands, leaving Yuna, and in turn you, alone. Yuna smiles, and readies herself so you can regain control, when Tidus suddenly walks up to you. You decide to let Yuna proceed as she normally would as Tidus climbs the stairs up to her, stretching his arms and giving a small yawn.
Tidus leans on the guardrail and looks out to the sea. Yuna tries to think of something to say, when you tell her to say that the weather is nice. Yuna nods, and speaks those exact words, albeit a bit slower.
“The weather…it’s nice.” Yuna says. Tidus nods in response, and Yuna smiles. The two then begin to laugh a bit, possibly due to finally having broken the ice together. Yuna then inquires about Tidus being a blitzball player, and it goes off from there. You kinda zone out in the midst of this, and when you finally do return from wherever the hell you went when you zoned out, Tidus is about to walk away, when suddenly, the ship suddenly shakes violently. Yuna slips and ends up falling, but luckily, Tidus grabs her before she, and in turn you, fall off the ship. Tidus pulls Yuna up, and you take control. You grip the rail and watch as huge waves almost capsize the boat as the boat continues to rock and shake.
Suddenly, the ship shakes once more, this time causing you to fall forward, causing Tidus to lose his grip. You roll forward and slam into the harpoon gun that, in a moment, will be used in a fruitless attempt to steer Sin away from Kilika village. Kimahri sees you hit the harpoon gun and jumps to your side. You look at the blue Ronso and nod, saying you are okay. Your attention then turns to see a huge dorsal fin erupt from the water.
“SIN!” Screams a random passenger behind you, causing you to jump. You watch as Sin moves along side the boat, seeing first hand how monumentally big Sin is.
“I-incredible…” You mutter to yourself in fearful awe. A crippling fear begins to over take you as Sin makes it to the front of the boat. You are only broken out of your trance of fear when Kimahri grabs you and pulls you back as the random crewmember from before runs before you and grabs the Harpoon gun.
You watch as the harpoon shoots out and nails Sin right in the dorsal fin causing it to begin pulling the boat. And here you thought the trip to Kilika would be smooth sailing. It would make you laugh a little if you didn’t know you were about to fight a giant celestial being of mass destruction!
