An accusatory male voice disturbed my pleasant time with Sakura. 'Yo! What do you think you are doing?'
I smirked, thinking any witness of the scene could clearly see exactly what I was doing: having a merry time tickling a cute girl. A bit of observation would reveal my fingers dancing on her bare midriff to the music of her elated laughter.
'Wipe that grin off your face and get your hands off my sister,' the source of the voice commanded, walking to stand before me. Out of respect, I did as directed.
In a voice still light and happy from the tickles, Sakura greeted her big brother, 'Hi Onii-chan! This is my new friend Dusk. Don't worry; we're having a good time playing together.'
'I can see that,' the older boy replied in a slightly irked tone, 'but he's gone too far.' He introduced himself and warned me, 'I'm Touya. Stay away from my kid sister. Only I'm allowed to tickle her like that.'
'Sister complex much?' I murmured under my breath.
'Did you say something?' Touya asked with a glare.
'Not a thing, Touya,' I replied, shaking my head.
'I thought not,' he answered smugly, then he began to wax eloquent, 'Big brothers are supposed to tickle their little sisters to smithereens. Where else can they learn the cruelty of the world?'
Ignoring the rest of his speech, I wondered if he would remove tickling from his repertoire of teasing if he knew she actually liked it. I hoped he would never discover that, for I wanted Sakura to have some playful fun with her brother.
Finally, he finished his lecture and turned to the bonny lass, addressing her, 'Come, Kaiju, let's go home.' Why Touya nicknamed his pretty little sister the Japanese word for 'monster' was a mystery. Effortlessly, Touya picked up Sakura, roller skates and and all, threw her over his shoulder, and began to walk away. Sakura giggled cutely in protest. Maybe her brother's touch tickled her or perhaps she desired to spend more time with her new friend. I blushed with pleasure, because she considered me her friend after our brief first meeting.
What will happen next?
