Maria Exits & Dallas Enters

You start frantically jumping up and down trying to get Maria’s attention. Luckily, she was close enough to see you. She leans in and notices a tiny man wearing no clothing and only a foot away from her when she freaks out. You hear her scream as she suddenly stands up on her feet and runs out the door shrieking. Maria must not be accustomed to the new shrinking technology yet.
A few minutes later nurse Dallas walks in and looks around the room. She calls out to you, “Doctor? Are you in here.” She then spots the doctor’s on the ground that apparently didn’t shrink with him. As she lifts them off the ground hoping to find her employer, she notices he wasn’t there. That’s when she spots you jumping up on the table trying to get her attention. She then bends over and brings her face close to your whole body. She asks in a slightly loud, excited voice “What happened doc?!” She knocked you over with her thunderous voice booming into your tiny ears and her powerful breaths emanating from her mouth. Dallas then says in a much softer tone “Sorry doc.”
You then wonder how Dallas knew to look for a shrunken you and ask “How’d you know I was small?” Dallas then cracks a smile and responds “I saw Maria darting towards the exit of the building and got in front of her to stop her so I could find out what was going out. She then mumbled something about a tiny little guy and kept on running.” You couldn’t help but laugh at how much you freaked out Maria. That’s when you explain to Dallas how the machine accidently shrunk you and everything what happened after that. When you get done, she’s just kind of staring at you with that blank, unsure expression of hers. That’s when you say “So are you going to help unshrink me or what?” Dallas then gives her ditzy look, realizing what her boss wanted her to do.
You sit in front of the machine waiting to be unshrunken. Dallas was plugging in all the instructions you gave her and you hear the machine powering up. Just as you get ready for the machine to fire its ray at you, you hear it wind down and make a beeping noise. You then see a very confused look on Dallas’s face. She announced “It says Error 121.” She tried pushing the button again, but nothing happened. Dallas then walks over to you looking for answers. You weren’t very familiar with the machine, so the problem could be anything. Dallas then kneels down and asks “What do you think is wrong?” You then reply “Well if it worked just a few minutes ago, then I’m assuming it’s something that’s changed since then, and considering the fact that I’m the only thing that’s changed I’m guessing it has something to do with that.” Dallas has a very confused look on her face as she tries to understand what you’re saying.
You explain “I think the machine is having issues reading my tiny size. See, the machine picks out a living thing in its radar to target for its size change, but it has a limit for what can be changed. They made it so no random insect flying by can be zapped, and that no person can grow over a height of like 7 feet or something and make themselves into a giant.” You then sigh realizing what the problem must be, “I heard that sometimes these machines glitch in what they’re reading and even if the subject is as small as I am, the machine won’t grow that person back because the machine thinks they’ve already reached the height limit.” You then start to get angry “Gosh damnit! I never wanted the stupid thing in my office, and now it doesn’t even work!” Dallas then forms a slight smile and responds “I wouldn’t say that doc.” You did not appreciate her humor or partially true statement.
You’re telling Dallas that she needs to get the instruction manual to make sure you were right about the error code when you both hear a bell ring signaling that a patient just came in through the main door. Dallas starts to leave but then you shout to her to get her to stop. She then turns to you and asks “Yeah?” You then pause for a moment in disbelief that she was really about to abandon you at your size for a patient. You say “You can’t just leave me here! I’m not even two inches tall! If a spider found me I’d be defenseless!” Dallas says “Well whoever just came in might need help too. I’ll just take you with me.” Dallas then picks you up and starts to walk out of the room again when you once again shout to get her to stop walking. You then tell Dallas “I don’t want people seeing me at this size.” Dallas looks puzzled and you explain “I have a feeling that if word got around that I shrunk myself and couldn’t undo it, it would be very bad for business. You have to at least conceal me somehow.”
Dallas think looks down and sees she doesn’t have a single pocket on her uniform. She didn’t have a purse or anything that she could hide you in, so she had to hide you on her person, but the question was where? Her scrubs were too loose to contain you, so that really only left her underwear as an option.
