You don't know how fast the time went by, but the next thing you know were that Torrey was in your arms, sobbing like a little girl and it seemed that this year's Trick or Treat was over, as there was no movement any more in the bag and it's been this way for ten minutes or so...
You are still amazed and frightened by the fact that you ended up this way and also that the twin girls that you always thought were polite and cute had the power to shrink people like this. Another thing that you think about is, if there's any chance that Esther and Samantha could have totally forgotten about you and Torrey.
Your hope bursts like a bubble as your sky opens up and light starts flooding in, showing two grinning girls, looking down at you and Torrey, as if they were picking which flavour candy they wanted.
Before you can speak your outrage at them, Esther justifies her ways by telling you and crying Torrey, "Trick or Treating is serious business and since you guys didn't treat us, we decided to treat ourselves!".
"This is nonsense! I will buy you as much chocolate as you want if you turn me and Torrey back to normal!" you try to persuade.
"Pfft, this isn't about the candy, Mark. It's about getting ready and making sure not to disappoint any kids on one of their favorite days of the year! So no deal, Mark, no deal." Samantha replies.
You try to come up with another argument but your thought is interrupted as Esther commands, "Look, here's the deal. We are going to one of you tonight, as a Trick as you didn't Treat us."
"Please, there must be a way for you guys to let us out!" Torrey finally speaks up.
"I know," Samantha shouts, sounding as if she came up with a good idea, "We will play a game and if one of you lose, we will eat you and if we lose, we will let you go!".
"But tha.." is all you manage to say before Esther cuts you off and replies to Samantha, "Great idea Sam, what game should we play though?".
