As you pick yourself from the pink blast, a shock runs through you as you hear a rip in your new panties tied to a new alien sensation from below your spine. Sound all you seems to go out for a moment, before coming back in spades, the first sound after your hearing returns is like microphone feedback, but then everything is crisper and sharper than you remembered it to be. When you reach back behind you to rub your aching bum, you straddle a new appendage between your middle and ring fingers, a furry appendage.
When you look back, you feel a part of you arching up as though to greet your eyes, as though moving naturally on instinct. You gasp, nearly fainting when you realize what it was; a cat's tail, nearly as long as you were tall, with blonde fur matching the color of your hair. Near the end was a bow made of lace ribbon with a bell in the middle. Oddly, you felt a very mild tingling urge to smack the dangling taffeta on your tail for a moment, before remembering, "Holy crap, I have a tail!!" When you yelled, it seemed much louder than you were used to. Fearing what you would expect, but figuring it was the logical extension of what was happening, you grab for your ears, only to get handfuls of your hair. Nervously, you fumble, before you feel them twitching atop your head. Taking your hand to them, they have the same downy, furry feel to them as well, as well as a triangular shape one would expect on a cat. After tugging a couple of times on them, when you let go, you feel them twitch again, flicking around, picking up every minute sound.
Christy walks up and hands you a hand mirror to let you see yourself. "I told you I could make it worse if you messed with me..." You see that outside of the new ears and tail, and the fact she seemed to have tacked on an extra cup size on your chest, you didn't seem to have no new outward physical changes since she turned you into a girl. "Now, instead of just being a girl until you graduate, you're going to have to be a catgirl until you graduate."
"Nice try, sis." You say, coyly crossing your arms under your breasts and raising your tail, "but even with all that power, how are you gonna explain away the whole 'world's only catgirl' situation or the fact I'm a catgirl and you're not, but we're supposed to be related?"
"Already did."
"Say what now?"
"I told you how I could rewrite history to make everyone believe you to be Amy, my sister, right?"
"Yeah."
"Well, I just did something on a grander scale. I replaced AIDS with the Nekomimi Virus. It showed up in the late '70's, and took the world by storm. It turned 30% of all females on the planet into catgirls like you, while making hundreds of millions of other women and many men as well into carriers that could pass it on or sire neko daughters. In fact, you contracted it because mom and dad were carriers, and they had a 50/50 chance of a catgirl child. I got 'lucky,' and didn't get infected, but am a carrier, while you did."
"Well... crap..." you felt dejected.
"Now, Amy, why don't we get some rest? Remember, we still have school tomorrow." Christy cackles with a smile, leaving you to let your new neko state set in.
