Whistling as he strolled along the hospital hallway towards his sister's room, Joey seemed to be in good spirits following the success of Serenity's eye operation, a bag stuffed with snacks swinging from one of his hands. The hospital didn't provide the best of snacks, and given how much Serenity seemed to enjoy the unhealthier foods, he had tracked down his favourite and calorie laden foods for her. Knocking at the door twice with his knuckles, he entered the room, smiling brightly despite the fact he knew his sister wouldn't be able to see it just yet, her eyes still bandaged from her operation just a couple of days prior. "Hey, sis! Your favourite brother in t'whole world is back!" he stared for a moment at just how much his little sister had changed in just that one week, almost glad that she couldn't see his shocked expression. If Serenity had been chubby before, she was well into being fat now, her bulk making the bed seem tiny and narrow in comparison.
The nurses had to have found her a new set of pyjamas, the pale pink pair would be far too small for her now, and these were fast to going the same way. The elasticated band of the pants had rolled under Serenity's chubby pot belly, unable to contain the white, doughy flesh, and were tight about her thicker thighs and rounded ass. Her top was straining over the top most part of her gut, she hadn't even bothered to try and pull it down over her belly as it would just spring back up, the first few of the lower buttons undone for comfort. The others were left straining, as if just a sneeze would burst them from the material. Serenity's elfin features had rounded out, her cheeks plump and lightly flushed, a slight double chin forming along her jawline. She looked beautiful, radiant, even with the bandaging about her eyes. She turned in the direction of her brother's voice, a smile crossing her rosebud lips, the action causing deep dimples to appear in her fleshy cheeks. "Big brother! Oh, I'm so glad that you came!" Joey dropped down into the seat at her bedside, reaching out to grab a chubby hand between his own long, thin fingers, to let her know that he was there.
