Hinata still cannot hear Naruto, she is just too massive and he is just too tiny. Naruto now has no idea on what to do and Hinata is getting worried about him in her ear. Naruto starts to trudge back to the exit of Hinata's ear, which will take a least another hour of walking. Suddenly the light was blocked off from the entrance to her ear as Hinata tries digging into her ear to try to get to Naruto.
Instead of effectively reaching Naruto, who is too deep into her ear to reach, she instead accidently just pushed all of her earwax into a giant mountain, just Naruto's luck. Hinata tries to contact Naruto, but there is no point she cannot hear him, so his only bet is to try to get to Hinata's face. He treks along for what seems to be 30 minutes before he runs into the mountain of earwax. It takes him an extra hour to climb over it and by the time he reaches the entrace to her ear, he had been hiking for about 2 hours.
