Sarah has always been interested in just about anything. Often spending free time at school's library or in museums.
It was just like any other Friday for Sarah, school had just ended and she was going to spend a little time in the library to look for new book arrivals…
Her class mates and friends said goodbye like normal, leaving her by herself.
Sarah was looking around in the library, it was half an hour before it will close for the weekend.
For some reason she suddenly has passed out and when she woke up, the library and the complete school building was closed for the weekend…
"How could that be? I am the only one left in the building". She almost cried, since nobody will be around here before Monday morning. She goes to the door and sees if she can open it to leave at least the library. She had luck the door was opening and she could step into the hallway, nothing and nobody was around. She then notices something, a harmless looking brown package on the floor, it was addressed to her. "Huh, wonder what this is", saying to herself as she picks it up and goes to some table and seats, which are usually used for the breaks…
She was setting the strange package on the table, she removes the wrapping and finds a black book with odd symbols and markings on it. But something else catches her attention, a letter was sticking out of one if its pages. She grabs the letter and begins to read it.
TO SARAH. I KNOW YOU’RE A LONELY GIRL, THEREFORE I HAVE DECIDED TO GIVE THIS TO YOU. I NO LONGER HAVE A USE FOR IT AND HAVE MADE A CHOICE TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO OWN IT, YOU. THIS BOOK WILL GRANT WHATEVER YOU DESIRE. USE IT HOWEVER YOU SEE FIT.
"What is this? Some kind of joke? Like some silly book can grant any wish". She decides to pick it up to examine it.
