When Jak and Jasmine got inside the ship, they noticed that Shadow made some decorations to the ship, as if it were a party. There were ribbons everywhere, a banner that read: "Welcome Back, Jak and Jasmine!", and a cake.
"Wow, this is a surprise." Jasmine said, as she hugged Kate.
"Yeah. We couldn't wait to see you guys again." Kate said.
"What's been going on in the past year, guys?" Jak said.
"Well," Shadow started, "We will tell you guys after we celebrate."
The Heroes started to munch down on cake. It wasn't a traditional party, but wasn't like a group party. Shadow (With assitance of Kate...) had also brought some things, earth like things. There was a T.V, some food, like frozen pizza, canned corn, etc., supplies, like a microwave, a stove, a iron, etc. It turned out to be like a normal house- but in a ship. Jak and Shadow were playing a Playstation 3 that Kate brought.
"What's a video game?" Shadow asked.
"A game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device." Jak said. "Like this thing here." Jak pointed to the PS3. "This is like the console. You use a game contoller to do curtain things in the game. Pressing bottons activate actions in game, and so on." Jak went on until Shadow understood.
"So, now can you tell us what happened to you guys during the year?" Jasmine said.
"Sure." Kate said. "Shadow became a solder of LOR......"
Note: I just revealed I am a hardcore gamer lolz." And the reason I that call the world "That World", is because it's origin will be revealed in later chapters.
