Chapter #4Unknown forest. by: J117 His intellect has made him rich, he had just left his own lab that he had purchased and was on his way home. After arriving at his large mansion, where only he lives, if you don't count the maids he hired.
They welcome him back, and he heads to his room. "Another great day", he says, stretching and laying back on his bed.
Later that night.
All his maids had gone home, leaving him all by himself, but he was use to it. Having moved out of his parent's house years ago.
A large banging noise wakes him up. "What was that?". It happens again. "Probably nothing", he says, going to investigate the noise. It is coming from the kitchen. Peeking inside, no one's there. "I knew it, there is no way someone can get past my security system".
The banging noise happens a 5th time. It's definitely coming from the kitchen, but there is no one there. He eventually finds the source, it's coming from a pantry. "One of the maids probably just poorly packed something in there and it's hitting the door", he tells himself.
He opens the pantry door, and everything goes black.
Waking up, he gets to his feet, a hand on his head. "Ugh, what happened? What the hell? Where am I?".
There were trees surrounding him, somehow, he had ended up in a forest. He knew he wasn't on his property, and he starts to think of how he ended up here. "Kidnapping? An experiment backfired?", he comes up with many theories, though he can't prove anything.
"I guess it doesn't matter. I just need to find a way out of here". Looking up at the sun, he sees that it is close to noon, and he decides to head north. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
