Derek ended up following Stacey home wit no problems at all. He was annoyed by the stares he got (as he was annoyed at the time, he looked a little menacing to kids and women), but at least no one could recognize him.
15 minutes later they made it to Stacey's house, which was a moderate sized house with red paint. There were two windows on the second floor, indicating that Stacey was an only child, with the other room for her parents.
The two quietly went inside and ran up to her room. Stacey's mom didn't like how she brought pets (or other people transformed into animals) into her home, so the girl tried to be quiet about it as possible. Fortunately her parents weren't home, so they got up to her light red-colored room easily. Once they got inside her room, Stacey closed the door quickly behind her.
"You can lay on the bed or whatever you want. I'll go get you some food", the perky girl said to Derek as she went downstairs to get something to eat. Before she did, though, she told him:
"Please don't make much noise."
Stacey then left the room. Moments later Derek was on her bed, his fur slowly covering her orange blanket in it.
