You try and wave to the pair of giant eyes studying you from inside the bottle. The more you wave, the more you sink. You give up to swim to the surface again, but fatigue grips your arms. You start to sink.
You start to pass out in the beer ocean...
When your mind returns, you feel your chest under pressure. Liquid builds in your throat. You turn to cough it up, but as you do; you open your eyes.
You see a massive pair of lips over you. You scream in terror, but you end up coughing some more. The lips back away to reveal a giant woman's face, with long blonde hair falling over you like a canopy. She gives you the glimmer of a smile. "You're the smallest person I have ever resuscitated. That's one for my books..."
You try and sit up. "Um...t-thank y..." You end up falling forwards, but the giantess' index finger catches you.
"Whoa, whoa, tiny guy! You shouldn't push yourself. A sip of beer for me isn't much, but that's probably like ten and a keg for you at your size."
You feel another finger support your back. "You're drunk! You should get some rest..."
"NO!" you shout up at her. You get up and push your way from between her fingers. You walk for a little bit along her palm before crumpling over onto it. You feel vomit building, but it would be embarrassing to puke on the giant lifeguard's hand. You try and hold it in while you free another cough and some beer from your chest.
"But my crew..." Maybe it's the drunkenness that's hindered your emotional control, but you start breaking into tears.
The giantess makes a minute "Shhhhh!" to calm your down. "Just hold it together, tiny guy. What do you mean by 'your crew?'"
As much as you desire to tell her everything, your inebriation doesn't allow you to explain yourself clearly. The only things that came from your lips were "My crew..."
"C'mon, look at me..."
She picks you up and turns you so you face her. "Lemme try and understand here. There's more like you, right?"
You nod.
"And you got separated from them, correct?"
You fall to your knees again. "What if they're dead? What if someone stepped on them?" You couldn't stop the tears.
A fingernail falls under your chin and pushes it so you look into her eyes. "It's fine. I'll find them for you. Trust me."
"Really?"
She smiles down at you. "I'm a lifeguard, right? It's my job to save people. But first, you need to save yourself. You need to lie down. If you want me to help you, I need your guidance anyways. Right now, you're as good at giving instructions as a drunk in the back of a cab."
