Suddenly, the hand relents. Confused, you look up and find yourself staring directly into the hazel eyes of the colossal adonis above you.
"Huh?"
Adrenaline takes over and you start to run for the alcove. "Hey, wait!" Chad shouts at you. His hand descends towards you again, but as soon as his fingers try to cut off your path, you dive out of the way. Another hand follows, but again you escape.
You reached the rest of the crew. "C'mon! We gotta hide!" Beneath the counter, there were few places to hide. The cabinet doors were too high off the ground for shelter. The only option that presented itself is the gap between the fridge and the counter. Shepherding your crew, you go far enough into the darkness to not be seen, but still be able to see what's happening beyond the miniature alleyway.
Chad's feet were still outside, then the floor shook some more. You hugged the counter wall, stepping through neglected amagamations of dust and giant hair, and peek around the corner. The giant was gone...for the moment.
"Is the coast clear?" the ship's pilot asks you.
"Yeah..." Then, the earthquakes returned with earnest. You can hear heavy breathing, then the groan of the colossal chair legs grinding against the floor. The thumping continued, but it's stronger than before. As soon as things beyond your little cranny calmed down, you make a quick check over your shoulder...and come face to face with a gigantic hazel brown eye.
"There you are."
You're cornered, but soon in more ways than one. Above you, a couple of fingers slid through the crack and met the floor behind you and your crew. Then, they slid towards you, forcing you towards him. As you get pushed into the open, you saw a glass portal before you. Chad's full hand swept all of you though the opening and you end up sliding along the surface.
All of you started to tumble until you found yourself sprawled on a slick, glassy surface. You tried to stand, but you fall over. The world around you seemed to turn, like the centrifuge from training on Earth, but less intense. All the while, Chad's eyes remained fixed on all of you.
"Would you look at that?"
You and your crew were in a glass jar, and your fate was literally in Chad's hands. With jar in hand, all of you end up...
