Nagato had an angry look on her normally calm and collected face. That's bad - the last time I faced off against an alien/robot/thing, I almost got killed!
"Nagato?" I asked, forcing myself to be relaxed. (She could probably smell fear...) "What's wrong? You look...upset for some reason."
"Kyon," she replied emotionlessly, "I've put up with this long enough. If you don't stop doing this now, I'll be forced to take matters into my own hands."
Oh crap! This is bad!
"Wh-what do you mean?! What am I doing that I should stop?!"
"Get out of first-person perspective."
Haruhi and I both get confused looks. "What are you talking about, Nagato?", I asked.
Nagato looked with a serious and aggitated expression on her face. "You've been narrating these stories since the club was first formed. If you don't stop, I'll have to get into the system and fix it myself, understood?"
What the heck is going on?! Nagato's telling me I've been narrating this the who -
- "That's it," she says with a hint of rage. "I'm taking care of it myself."
"Kyon!?" Haruhi said, noticeably freaked out, "What's going o-?"

Kyon opened his eyes to see he was huddling with Haruhi in the corner of the room. Haruhi's eyes were shut tight, and she was bracing herself. He was surprised to find himself covering haruhi, as if shielding her from something.
Slowly, he turned around, and looked at his surroundings - the clubroom looked exactly like it was. Haruhi slowly opened her eyes, confused when nothing happened to anyone. "What...what happened?" she asked, still suspicious of the event which had occured. She turned to see Yuki sitting in her usual corner, reading a book like usual.
"Yuki," Kyon asked, standing up, "Did you...see anything?"
"I saw you and Haruhi cuddling in the corner, and nothing more," she replied in her normal tone, no emotion at all detectable.
"Wait...what?" Haruhi finally noticed she was clutching Kyon's arm, which she quickly let go. "Jeez, what happened? Did we hallucinate or something?"
"I don't know..." Kyon replied, scratching his head. "Maybe we hit our heads on something?" he turned and saw Haruhi still shaken, but otherwise unharmed. "I wouldn't worry about it," he added. "It doesn't look like anything happened."
Haruhi looked around, registering the clubroom, and relaxed again. "Yeah...nothing happened. We're ok!"
After a few tense minutes, everything returned to normal...and Yuki let out a small, but knowing, smile...
