"Hurry up Kyon!" She shouted, dragging me down the hall by my collar yet again. Haruhi Suzumiya, the school eccentric, leader of the SOS Brigade, and the cause of all my problems since we started up at this school.
It was the first day back after break, and now that we were sophomores, Haruhi thought it was time we got a little more freedom, regardless of the fact we have our own clubroom. Although, I was curious to see if they would have changed anything while we were gone. I didn't have long to think on that, as Haruhi kicked down the door and threw me in.
"Ow! watch it!"
"Oh relax. wow, they didn’t touch this place at all! :)"
"ya, I can tell..." I said, running my fingers over the table, pulling up a fine layer of dust. There was one thing missing though:
"Hang on...where’s Nagato?"
"Hmm?...oh, she's not here?" typical Haruhi. I'm sometimes unsure whether she actually knows that Nagato is one of the club members.
Yuki Nagato, a complete stoic, usually reading some book or another. She rarely speaks around Haruhi, and its almost always in a monotone. When Haruhi isn't around however, she talks at length, usually to me, about how important sticking around is to her mission.
See...Nagato's an...alien? Robot? I don’t know anymore. The point is, she isn’t human. She's here to study Haruhi, make sure there’s no change to "the flow of data." More on that later....
Haruhi herself was sitting at her computer, typing away. I assumed she was on our website, updating it or something. That’s all she ever does on that thing, as far as I know.
