With senior year finally at its end, Gabriella wanted to do something special with Troy to celebrate one journey ending and another one beginning. The whole week she constantly mentioned to him that they should go to the new high dining restaurant that just opened up in the downtown area. Finally Saturday rolled around and Troy decided to surprise her with a phone call that would hopefully brighten her day.
"Hey Gabriella, I know you have been wanting to go out the whole week how does the new restaurant sound?" he asked over the phone.
Absolutely giddy with excitement, she replied,"That sounds fantastic! I've been waiting you to ask me that all week, what time are you picking me up at?"
"How's seven tonight sound?"
"Sounds great, I'll see you then love you"
"Love you too" as she hung up the phone, deep in thought about how it was never any less special the time they spent with one another.

After a few hours of preparation, since dates take awhile to get ready for, Gabriella was all set by the time Troy rolled up in his truck. She had decided to wear a long black dress that showed her figure well, sparkling sandals, a matching black purse and the "T" necklace Troy had given her all those years ago. Troy was just as well dressed, sporting a red long sleeved button shirt, khaki pants and matching shoes.
"You look fantastic, are you all ready?" he said with some fluster to his stunning girlfriend.
"Yup, just one more thing, "as she leaned in and kissed him for a good while before running past him to his truck, leaving him behind with the biggest smile on his face. Boy was he lucky to have such a spunky girl like her, he thought as he chased after her.
