Dillon walks into the room

The feeling stirring inside of him began to grow and shape itself into something foriegn. Gary slowly took a step toward the tiny creature. Suddenly, Gary tore his eyes away from the cat as an insistant voice sounded behind him.

"I'm hungry! How come the cat gets to eat but I don't? I want food!" The five-year-old said, stomping his little foot and glaring. Gary could see his bottom lip quivering, much like he was about to cry. Little kids. They always wanted something.
