Continue from the boys' perspectives

"How often do they do this?" Don asked.

"Dunno. It's the first time I've ever seen them this competitive." Bum reached his head down again to start chewing on more hay. As the duo continued to watch the girls, they could see a small lightning bolt between their heads as they stared each other down. The colorful words continued to sprout their wings.

"You wanna keep watching them? I'm getting kind of bored here," Don complained.

"Yeah. Looks like it's just getting interesting." Both the girls were neighing and rearing up their front legs. It didn't seem as if combat would be far off. That was until the farm owner saw what was happening and came rushing out. Mare and Alicey have had intense situations with each other before, so the farmer knew how to deal with the mares. If they ever got out of control, sometimes he would resort to more painful means.

"HEY, CUT IT OUT!!!" the farmer's voice boomed. Everything around him became silent after he yelled. Even Mare and Alicey stopped what they were doing to turn their heads towards him.

"Too bad," said Bum. "He always has to ruin the entertainment. I still won't forget the time when we tried to make out with those two girls a long time ago, and then he came out here and punished us.

"Yeah, tell me about it."
