Chapter #4

Never put your nose to the water

    by: FT2k4 Author IconMail Icon
As Spyro scoped the lake for moss, he noticed something moving in the water. Curiously, he lowered his head, his nose hovering just above the water. The water, reflecting the trees all around them, made it hard for Spyro to pick out what was moving in the water. It was blending into the tree's reflection. Spryo backed up a little. "Have you found any moss?" He heard Cynder call out.

Spyro shook his head a little. "Uh, not yet!" He called back, prompting a "Me neither." reply from Cynder.

Spyro continued to study the object moving in the water. The rippling made it hard to determine whether the object was under the water, or part of the reflection. Spyro squinted and finally picked out what was heading his way. His eyes widened, having no time to react as the creature struck!

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. An alligator grabs him and pulls him in!

2. A snake strikes from under the water!

3. A plant's vine gets him!

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
