Orihime was walking home from a recent battle with a Hollow; she didn't get the chance to fight it but Ichigo destroyed it in mere seconds. Orihime felt ashamed that she couldn't help him in any way. While in mid-thought, the Hollow somehow appeared in front of her but it was larger than normal! At first, Orihime was scared, but then she realized she could fight it without Ichigo. She then punched the Hollow without thinking or hesitation. Strangely enough, it dissipated then was absorbed by her. Orihime felt a surge of energy and felt strange but she couldn't tell what. She shrugged and skipped happily home after defeating the Hollow.
