Carey woke up to the sun glaring at her through the window. Slightly sweaty, she hauled herself up to a sitting position, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. A quick shower and hot breakfast perked her up enough to contemplate the wand again. "I wonder if my wish about Alex came true." No sooner had she thought this than a knock at the door signaled Alex's arrival. "Ah, there he is. I thought he'd forgotten I promised to hang out with him today." She stopped to fix her hair a bit, then opened the door to greet Alex. "Hey there Ale...oh, hello." At the door was not Alex, but a girl, a dark haired, sexy girl. She smiled and said, "Hey there, sexy. Ready to go?" Carey slammed the door shut.
"What the hell? Who is she?!" Carey thought with alarm. She had never seen her before, but the girl seemed to know her. That, or she was some creep looking for a cheap thrill. She peeked through the peephole. The girl was still there, bewildered. "Carey, what was that about? I know you didn't forget about our date!" Date? The only person I have a "date" with is...it dawned on Carey. The girl outside had features in common with Alex, dark hair, blue eyes, pale skin, mostly skinny. She was super hot, and a girl, someone Carey could love. Her eyes fell on the wand. "I...my wish must have turned Alex into a girl!" She whispered to herself. Gathering her nerves, she opened the door again.
"You okay, Carey? What was that about?" "Oh, umm, nothing. I..wanted to make myself look nice." Alex smiled and stroked Carey's hair."You always look nice, Care." Carey smiled nervously. "Well, uh, so, are you okay, with, you know..." Carey gestured to Alexis' body. "Whacha you mean?" "Well, with being a girl?" Alexis raised on eyebrow. "Uh, I guess, I've been a girl for a while now." "But, you were a guy yesterday!" "No, I think I would have noticed that." Carey was confused. "Alex, I accidentally turned you into a girl. I wished you were someone I could love, so you became a girl I could love." Alexis was less confused and more worried now. "Care, are you okay? Your acting awfully weird. Maybe the date's a bad idea." Carey sat down and held her head in one hand. "Yeah, okay, if you don't mind" "Hanging out here is great, too." As Alexis went to get some things from her apartment, Carey tried to make sense of everything. "How can he, she, not remember being a boy?" Carey got out a photo album. In it, she found several pictures of her at the county fair with Alex. They were all the same, except Alex had been replaced by Alexis. On her phone, her number for Alex's number was now titled "Alexis". Records, notes, everything had been changed to include Alexis. But for Carey, all her memories were of Alex, not Alexis. She came to the conclusion that not only Alex, but everything had changed to fit her wish. Only she knew Alexis had once been Alex.
Alexis rifled through her stuff, selecting several things for fun, like cards and movies, and sex, like handcuffs and lotion. She got hot just imagining Carey, wearing nothing but skin and cuffed to her bedposts, beautiful, sexy, vulnerable. She shook this from her head. "No, Carey isn't into that," she reminded herself. Still, she might be coaxed into wearing a kitty outfit. Alexis gathered up her stuff and headed back to Carey's. "Maybe tonight will be special," she thought, opening the door.
