Linda heard the doorbell ring and saw Maggie's car out front. Linda called out, 'Amanda'.your Mommy is here to pick you up!' Linda then opened the door, 'Thanks for bringing over Amanda for a playdate! Cassie sure enjoys spending time with her!'
Maggie smiled, 'I'm sure glad our girls are getting along!'
Linda nodded, 'Ever since the divorce, Cassie hasn't been able to make many friends'.It's great to see her getting along so well with Amanda!'
Maggie nodded, 'Same time next Wednesday?'
Linda agreed, 'That would be great!'
Maggie saw her daughter Amanda come up and hug her, 'Hi Mommy!'
Maggie smiled and said, 'Come on princess'we better get home!'
Amanda turned to hug her friend Cassie and said goodbye. Both Moms smiled seeing how good their daughters were getting along.
Maggie loaded Amanda into her car seat and started driving down the road. Maggie bent the rear view mirror so she could see Amanda. Cracking a smile she said, 'So how did it go princess?'
