Michelle Johnson put a finger to her chin as if in deep thought, and she was. The possibilities seemed to be only as finite as their imaginations. "Seriously..." Michelle thought to herself, "... I just went from 45 to 25 in a matter of seconds..."
Michelle, in thought, looked to her twin children, both of whom looking to their mother for a proposal as on what to do with this new-found medallion. Robby, her son, looked to her with a twinkle of eagerness in his eyes, probably because Robby managed to retain the adventurous personality of his mother. All the while, Lilly, her daughter, looked to her with a nervous aura about her. After all, Lilly had always been a bit like her father, that is, on the reserved side, though adventurous when she wanted to be.
As Michelle gazed upon the kids, the light-bulb in her mind lit abruptly. And, as this idea came to her, the devious smile Robby and Lilly knew all too well spread about her face.
"So?" Robby asked in a naive, eager anxiety. "What's the big plan, Mom?"
"I don't think I like the look on your face..." Lilly sighed, taking a step back as she uttered these words.
"Oh, believe me, I have something in store for you guys..." Michelle grinned mischievously. "However, seeing as I've already used the medallion tonight, and, thus, won't be able to use it again for another 12 hours, we'll wait 'till tomorrow to go through with my plan. I wanna take part, too! So, you're safe for tonight, Lilly."
"But what is it?!" Lilly questioned, anxious as can be.
"Don't worry about it! At least until tomorrow."
"Can't wait!" Robby chimed in. "But, what about tonight?"
"Well, I know that the two of you kids had plans with friends tonight... So, while you guys are doing that, I'm gonna go out and enjoy my newfound youth!"
It was true, both Robby and Lilly did indeed have prior obligations that evening. Robby, and one of his close friends, Mark, were to embark on a double date with a couple of girls in their English class. Lilly, on the other hand, planned to invite some of her female friends to the house. Lilly thought tonight to be the best night to do so, considering Robby would be absent, and, in that, unable to hit on her friends all night.
"Well, you're taking the medallion, right, Mom?" If you're leaving Robby and I here alone, I don't trust Robby with the medallion..." Lilly said.
"Hey! I can be trusted, sis!"
"Actually," Michelle entered, "I think I'll leave the medallion here. I've had my fun with it..." Michelle gestured to her 25 year old body. "... You guys should to! Lilly, you need to get out of your safe-zone and live a little! You can always change back! Just not for 12 hours."
"But, Mom, don't you feel... Strange suddenly changing like that?" Lilly asked.
"I know it sounds weird, Honey, but, trust me, it's a very exciting feeling! It's like Halloween, but for real! You get to be what you're not." Mom justified.
"Yeah, Lilly, get out of that little box of yours and live a little!" Robby urged.
"Hey! It's a very nice box!" Lilly joked, igniting laughter from the three of them.
"Well, I'm gonna go, kids. The medallion's on the kitchen table, in case any of you two are interested."
Michelle then ran for the door. Before you knew it, she was gone, totally out of sight. Then, abruptly, as if out of nowhere, the door opened slightly and she peeked her head in. "Lilly! Live a little!" She exclaimed before again being off on her merry way.
And, so, the twins were left alone, with a magic medallion capable of changing one's form. Robby looked to the medallion that rest at the center of the table, then back to his sister. Upon gazing at his sister, he gave the sly smile reminiscent of his mother. Lilly worriedly exchanged the glance.
