After his parents had walked out of the kitchen, Andrew thought he was in the clear; that he wouldn't have to worry about being a newborn baby for a few days. As he walked upstairs to his room, he silently cursed to himself that his other siblings were all out of the house until the weekend. "Why didn't I go to the Lake with Brian and his family when he asked me to?"
Walking into his room, he was about to go over and turn his TV on when suddenly he felt himself being grabbed from behind.
Panicking, he was unable to break free as he was thrown on the bed. His eyes widened in fear when he saw his mom appear with the medallion and his dad holding one of those outfits a newborn wears out of the hospital. "You bastards! I said I wouldn't do this!"
"You need a vacation, Andrew; this will give you some time to rest and relax."
It was not long before both the medallion and outfit were touching his skin; leading to the now familiar feeling of electric shock. As Andrew started to change, he knew it would not be long before he was a newborn baby girl.
Sure enough by the time Michael had returned five minutes later, his 15 year old son had been replaced with a newborn baby girl.
Watching as Sara placed a diaper on Andrew, Michael said, “So when does your sister get here?”
“She arrives tomorrow morning.” Getting up, holding her regressed son in her arms, Sara said, “I figured Andrew would be hostile to the idea; so I thought changing him a day early would give him time to calm down.”
“Where is he...she going to sleep?” Looking around Andrew’s room, Michael said, “This room isn’t exactly safe, or appropriate for a baby girl.”
“She’ll sleep in our room; I’ve already set up the crib in the corner.”
As if on cue, Andrew started squirming and crying in Sara’s arms. Without saying a word, Sara retreaved a pacifier from her pocket and put it in Andrew’s mouth. It took a few seconds but Andrew stopped whining and dozed off. Seeing this, Andrew said, “Looks like you haven’t lost your touch with babies.”
“I’ve had four kids, Michael; it’s not something you forget easily.”
“Perhaps we should put Andrew down for a nap; so we can get some peace and quiet for a while.”
Headings towards their bedroom, Sara said, “That’s a good idea.”
