What makes you happy here in WDC?

Hm...what makes me happy in WDC?

Well, what do you think? Writing, you big silly! I joined the site because I love to write. Moreover, I love to write, and have my writing read. That's the point, isn't it?

If a tree falls in the woods and there is no one around, it still makes noise....but it's much more fun if someone hears the noise, and responds with more noise! Even if what I've written is complete and total bunk, and the reader hates it, and gives me a lousy review (and doesn't send any GP's), I still have the satisfaction of being read, and provoking some sort of emotional/psychological reaction in another person. (Even if this person turns away from the computer screen and vomits violently, and has horrific nightmares for days afterward....that's better than nothing.)
