Beast looked up and smiled. “Mostly Sentinel robots and a few flying laser bots as well.”
“Sounds like fun.” Walking into the danger room, he nods at Rogue. Account timer hits 0 and the room changes they are now standing on a street in the middle of a set of slums. A Sentinel Unit starts moving down the street flanked by three laser bots on both side. A small child runs out of a building towards them.
Looking over to Rogue he smiles. “What’s the scenario?”
“Save the child and get him to a safe house.” Bending down she picks up a brick and starts running to the robots.
Cursing he moves forward and easily passes Rogue. “Get the child out of here I will distract them.”
Running full tilt he grabs two pieces of broken rebar without stopping and jumps directly onto the Sentinel Robot jamming both pieces into eyes. Two lasers cut through the air where he was as he hits the ground running, grabbing a small slab of broken building with a piece of rebar hanging on one side. Hefting it he launches it at the colossus nail the massive robot in the neck. A solid crack is heard. His eyes quickly dart to Rogue as she is running away from the action with the child in her arms.
Up above he hears two more Sentinels flying in to deal with the arrogant mutant and he smiles. The Laser bots are in partial shut down mode waiting for orders from a sentinel main unit. Dislocating the arm of one he finds the inside laser trigger and blast the other five away before the sentinel units arrive. Aiming at the first he nails one of the jets, causing it the crash ground. The second lands firing undamaged. He fires one, landing a glancing blow before he is pushed to cover.
