The Mystery Exceeds Expectations

"Omigosh! Are you alright?"

She noticed, in the extremely dim lighting the basement provided, a boy tied to a table. This wasn't strange at all! She pulled off his gag without thinking, and began to unravel the ropes around him. Survival camp training, who knew?

"Hey! Stop it, he'll come back, he'll see you!!"

"What, what do you mean he?"

"The...!"

A thump, thump, thump convinced Anna that the boy's words were true. But she could still see the light of her house from the top of the stairs... Was it still her house?

"Hey, who brought you down here? Do you know the person's name?"

"That isn't important!! We have to hide!"

"Tell me, or I'll scream!"

"You wouldn't dare! That'll get us both killed!"

"I would!"

"Herrgg...."
