Chapter #4
The fall of Lylo
by: Unknown
A soilder was running along open ground as a flying weapons platform chased him down explosions landing near him but he didn't stop running half turning around to use any spare chance to shoot at the flying platform which finally exploded and fell to the ground.
The soilder caught his breath and tested his radio only find it wasn't working "god damn...it work....damn you" he screamed into the radio not getting much apart from static he just hoped they would get the message in time all around him was death and the glowing blue lights from the Geth's heads getting closer "Lylo's is lost send...........reinforcements" he said into the radio "The Geth............broken though the defenses and are.......swarming the main camp....i don't know....long we can hold.........out" he said throwing a grenade and taking out two Geth with that blast.
The soilder made his way to what was left of the bunker holding the only organic life left on this planet,a Turrian and three humans including him "Sgt Bolden good to see you made it back" the Turrian said "how is the western line holding?" he asked the Sgt who only shook his head helping himself to some water and pouring some over his head "its not, they are all dead" Lincoln said sighing "same as we will be once they work out we are the last ones left' he added the Turrian was about to say something else when a rocket flew into the bunker and exploded blasting the Turrian and two humans to pieces.
However Alliance Sgt Lincoln Bolden was not killed in action badily wounded, burnt but still alive barely hidden under the body parts of his squad as the Geth walked closer, there was no way the Sgt could fight them off but he needed a plan,if he tried to run and was too slow because of his injuries he would be cut down very quickly,or he could wait for a shot? or he could just stay put
