Because of these reasons and driven by love and concerns about his daughter the king had asked Marlin for help and both decided to transform Marlin into a personal guard for Fia.
Since she should also have protection while being in woman’s only chambers and to establish a personal relationship to her guard the result was that the guard has to be a female!
She was introduced as Marla to princess Fia and Fia had no idea, that this young female guard was Marlin…
