Prince Kelos wrote and sent a note asking the house steward to allow his scribe access to the library so that he might have some books to read tonight. Kelos figured that getting the scribe started small the wisest course of action. He might not have entry to the restricted areas but he might be able to find something in the other sections to get him started.
A valet came shortly after the note was sent and escorted the scribe to the library. Upon entering the immensity took the scribes breathe away. Towering book shelves filled the room surrounding the scribe as he wandered about. Wizened and educated men sat at large tables pouring through ancient tomes.
The valet kept a vague watch on him, so the scribe knew he could not sneak into the restricted section of the library Edric the scribe felt joy at all this accumulated knowledge. He finally remembered himself and started to look at the section on legends and lore. He guessed that might be the best place he could access.
