Where your species failed, Humanity thrived in breeding, this Healer might have the proper equipment necessary to help the species learn to continue on without cloning techniques.
A room on one side of the building was housed by a Matron and her two children, one youth and one newborn. There was a sub-category to your mission overall; a parameter that fell within your interests, Matrons have the ability to proliferate and continue their species, and the scientists wished to study the effectiveness of cross-breeding with Humans to replace what was lost by cloning technology, and to have genetic diversity of one generation to another would also fall within the categories.
There were more female options available in this structure that would fulfill the mission parameters, but you were starting to grow impatient with this inactivity.
