a creature came from behind

An odd humanoid riding on a large raptor-like creature, pulls up behind the pair.
The raptor roars, as his rider screeches a war-cry, and jumps off, taking the Flying Pirate in a flying tackle.
Samus is dropped, only to land on the raptor, who looks back at her and seems to wink.
She looks up as the Flying Pirate and humanoid fight, with much screeching and blood.
She gives a cry as the Pirate falls to its death when the other slashes it with its bendizium blade.
The raptor pulls up suddenly, catching Samus in its claw as she falls off. The rider lands on his creature, and smiles down at Samus, who is being held upside down.
She bares her teeth and yells at it to quit looking at her, but it either doesn't understand, or just ignores the demand.
