This choice: It was his younger brother coming home from school • Go Back...Chapter #5It was his younger brother coming home from school by: Unknown The sound of the front door opening call Sean atention, so he walk to hallway a saw his younger brother, Cody, a twelve years old boy that was going to turn thirty in 2 monts, he has short brown hair, blue eyes and was wearing his habitual school uniform, Cody was a nice and good little brother who usally like's to play video games, watch anime and cartoon tv programs and also reading comics, the tipycally things that boys do, but sometimes he enjoy doing pranks to Sean, because of two things:
1: When they were younger Sean use to, like most of elder siblings do, mess with Cody everytime he has the chance.
And 2: strangely for Cody, he was short in height for his age, Cody was almost 4 foot tall, 3 foot and 9.5 inches tall to be exact, so Sean every time Cody do something to anoy him he always call him with nicknames, like dwarf, hobbit, short stuff and the list continues, and with the fact that Sean being so tall this words make Cody very angry, so he see his pranks like karma for Sean.
Sean though that it wouln't be a good idea to leave his little brother know about his new condition, he dont know what Cody would do to him, sure Cody woulnt hurt him but Sean know very well that it will be a very bad experience for him.
"Hello Sean" said Cody grabbing his backpad, his face was sweating looks likes he run all the way home.
"Hi little bro, looks like someone couldn't reach the bus in time" replied Sean.
"Nah, i was just bored so i decide to come back home at foot" Cody say smiling while taking his backpack off.
"Yeah yeah and now you are sweating and smell, you better take a bath and put those clothes in the washing machine before mom come home" Sean said.
"Ok, see you later bro" said Cody passing a side of Sean to go to the bathroom with his backpack in hands.
Sean sigh and go to the living room to watch the tv, but in the moment he sits in the sofa he fell his cellphone vibrating in his pants and start to hear the tone, he grab the phone and saw the screen with a call of his mother, Sean then answer the call.
"Hello mom" Sean said
"Hi baby, your brother haven't come of school already?" Sean mother ask.
"Yes mom, Cody comeback a few minutes ago, why you ask? something happen?" Sean ask.
"Well yes, something happen in the office and i have to go, looks like i will not be coming home soon either, i will come back around 7pm, so i would like if you could take care of your brother for the rest of the day" she said making Sean to sighs with no other option in hand.
"Ok mom, i will watch Cody until you come from the office" sean replied.
"Oh thank you Sean, don't eat garbage do something decent for both you, take care bye" his mother say while end the call.
Sean then go to the bathroom and saw that his brother was in the shower with the curtain cover him so Sean don't see Cody in his birthday suit, he look to the washing was working with Cody's clothes inside, so Sean look back to his brother in the shower and tell him in a hight tone.
"Cody, mom call me and say she wouldn't coming home until night time, so i'm in charge, i will go and make something for lunch" Sean said to Cody.
"Ok bro, please don't make pancakes you always leave them to burn" Cody replied annoying Sean a little.
"Yeah what you say short stuff" Sean say leaving the bathroom and because of the sound of the washing machine and the water flowing out the shower he couldn't hear his little brother grumbles.
Sean leaving Cody in the shower, he then goes back to the kitchen and after 20 minutes he make's pasta, noodles to be exact, and when he finish making the sauce and he looks the food that was almost ready, he grab the dishes and serve the lunch putting the dishes on the table until then, he was interrupt with the sound of his brother calling his name and when Sean looks his back to Cody, he was wearing now a blue trunks, with a red shirt and was barefoot, Sean saw that he has his school shirt in hand and for what he see, the shirt has shrunk in size, look's like Cody make a mistake with the washing machine.
"Look bro, my shirt shrunk! what did you think it making it to shrink?" Cody say looking to his brother, Sean on the other hand was getting pale after hearing the "S" word.
Sean then get the same feeling when he was with the doctor, he see the world around him starting to expand and feeling his clothes a little loose while looking to Cody's expression, he was amazed of seing Sean shrink a little losing 3 inches.
"Eh, Cody.." Sean with the nerves he trying to say something but he was interrupted by his brother.
"Wow, Sean are you, did you just..." Cody was trying to saying but Sean know what he was going to say and he open his mouth to stopping Cody, but it was too late "shrink?" Cody said.
Again, the feeling runs again in Sean and his body was shrinking in size getting smaller than a moment ago, he could sense his clothes getting more loose a his pants were lowering a little losing 3 inches leaving him now with 5,4 foot tall, he was still taller than his brother but Sean could see the look in the face of Cody, he was putting the gears together, Sean thought that it will better to tell him everything a least in that way, he would knows how to grow his big brother back.
"Listen Cody..." Sean then explain to his brother the new condition that Sean's body have, that he will shrink 3 inches in size every time he hear someone saying the word shrink and he will grow back is he hear the word grow back, Sean then gets much paler when saw the smirk in Cody's face making him gulping his spit.
(Note from the author: this is the first time that i make a character for a story that is not mine, i hope that the chapter is ok)  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
