"Ouch..." I said as I opened my eyes. I stood up and shook my head before heading back to mom to give her the paper. I looked up and saw that she was sitting on her sofa busy watching the television. I shouted out to her but my voice was once again not loud enough to be heard due the booming noise from the TV.
Getting fed up, I moved towards her leg and tapped it for her to look down to see me. "Well, took your time didn't you?" joked Monica as lent forward to pick both me and the paper up. "If it took so long, why didn't you go and get it?" I asked as I up as she put me down next to her. "Oh hush...my shows on" laughed Monica as she rubbed my head.
I took a deep breath and sat down next to her to watch her show. As the shows was over my mom stood up and left the living room, leaving me all alone.
