This choice: Yukiko heads to the ramen shop after class... Memories again... • Go Back...Chapter #5"I see him in the reflection" by: Vfan   Yukiko headed to get some Ramen, she made her order and once she got it she ate it slowly, she stared into the bowl. "I see him in the reflection."
Yukiko saw the face of her beloved Souji, she felt miserable about herself. She was free now, she chose her lifestyle to stay at the inn, she made her choices and was happy, but it seems she was only happy when he was around. "I guess I didn't develop as much as I thought."
Yukiko finished the bowl and payed for it, she headed to the flood plains sitting down on the Bench where she and Souji had their first talk alone. "I remember, it was raining. I wore my Kimono, he walked down the way I was looking, never did I imagine he'd be the one for me."
Yukiko began to cry. "Miss...miss?"
Yukiko looked to see the old fisherman who stands by the riverbank, he walked up. "Oh It's Miss Amagi."
"Old Man." Yukiko said surprised the old man was always watching the water.
"I couldn't help but see how sad you were looking, care to tell an old man what's wrong so he can try and help?"
"It's, well to be honest...someone I love very dearly left, headed home. I never realized that all the strength and courage I gained was from him."
"Huh? Oh I see, love is the problem...well I may an old fisherman but I've still been around the block, some times you can't do things yourself, sometimes you need help to get through your problems, why I never would have seen The Guardian had it not been for my prays to the shrine." the Old man said.
"The...the shrine! That's it! Old man thank you!" Yukiko got up and darted away.
"Oh...kids these days, speaking of I haven't seen that Souji kid around..." The Old man scratched his head.
At the Shrine Yukiko looked at the Golden Materials still stunned how the old place looked with it. "I spent time here with Souji too..."
Yukiko walked up to the offertory box. "Please, some higher power, give me a sign, how can I see Souji again!?"
She dropped some money in. "Please, I want to see him again. He means more to me...then anything. I can't even live without him anymore."
Yukiko's stomach started to grumble. "H-huh?"
"Could, this be my sign? Oh that's it! I'll improve the cooking of the Inn and make it sell Five Star restaurant style food! I'll make it more popular then ever before! Maybe once Souji-kun hears about it he'll visit and I can tell him how I really feel! Thank you!"
She looked up hands together in a pray stance before darting off, a fox suddenly leaping down and seeing quite the sum of money in the box!
Yukiko has decided to increase the Inn's popularity by making the food the best ever, her only choices are to practice until she improves, or samples the specials of actual 5 Star Restaurants and try to mimic their cooking first.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
