Wait to see what happens

Through the canopy of leaves you can see the sun slowly started to climb into the sky. Its light penetrates the leaves, just barely. Suddenly you hear something moving through the thick layer of leaves on the ground. You look down to see it coming closer to your bare feet. It's moving fairly quickly, you can feels your bare nipples hardening as your heart rate climbs. You bump into the tree behind you as back up but there is no where to go and the chain keeps you from running. It's close now, almost to your naked little toes, it could be a snake, or maybe just a mouse.
