He chooses Mike and Michelle

Michelle's abbreviated dance was over, and she began to march towards Mike, one stiletto heel clicking seductively in front of the other, when she began to stumble as the room filled with an odorless, colorless gas.
"I'm getting so sleepy," said Mike. "Maybe we should just have a nap for real. We'll have plenty of time for sex later."
"Whatever you say, my darling," cooed Michelle as her eyelids got heavier. "As long as we are together in some way, I will be happy."
The phrase "as long as we are together in some way" resonated with Dr. Moriarty as he watched the two collapse onto the bed, and then as they were brought down into his laboratory and laid side-by-side on his exam tables.
He circled their unconscious forms. He removed one of Michelle's shoes and inhaled deeply from it, then held and stroked her slender, stocking-clad foot.
She was really so perfect, he thought. He had been far and wide and seen many lovely women, but he had to agree with his staff that rarely on this earth had been so spectacular a beauty as this one. And yet that perfection did little for him, because of his own unique predilections. He had to do something to her - something that might live up to her earlier words, and yet without marring the perfection he saw in her.
He cradled the patent-leather shoe some more, then looked over at Mike, who was by any reasonable measure just as perfect. (The women on staff were just as disappointed by this coupling as the men were about Michelle.)
He looked at Michelle's stocking-clad foot, then at the shoe, then at Mike, and began to wonder what Mike's legs would look like in Michelle's clothing. Or did he dare mess with their physical forms as well?
