She comes to a small clearing in the woods and finds a field of flowers.
"Awwwwwww..." Maria whines. She was sure that the sweet smell would have lead her to some berries. But all she found were these flowers. They were pretty flowers, but they weren't food.
The petals of each flower arranged themselves in a manner similar to a tulip, but ended in the frills of a daffodil. Reds, blues, yellows, oranges, pinks and purples were spread evenly amongst this field, swaying rhythmically with a wind that was not felt. The place was not without charm; its beauty was undeniable.
It just wasn't food,,,
Maria's stomach growled. "I know, I know... I didn't find any food... You don't have to remind me."
The orange vixen slumped against a tree, letting her shapely rear rest itself on a root. "So damn hungry..." she sighed.
All she could do was watch the sweet-scented flowers dance...
