The first thing Hikari did after waking up was check the alarm spell she had cast. It was undisturbed, which was good. Afterwards, it was time for breakfast. Hikari didn't have any of the boar meat that she had eaten last night left, so she had to content herself with some jerky and water. After she was done, Hikari took what possessions she needed and left the rest behind her. She still had some distance to cover, though by the end of the day she would find the entrance to the Lipmancer's lair. At least, if the information that she had found was correct.
Hikari hiked for several hours, enjoying the lush wilderness around her. Many heavier people might have had trouble with long-distance walks, but Hikari had magical symbols tattooed all over her body which greatly increased her physical strength. In theory, she would be able to retain mobility no matter how much weight she gained, though Hikari never really wanted to test those limits. She didn't mind being chubby that much, but she'd rather stay at her current weight than get any heavier.
(Later on in life, Hikari would admit that such thoughts were basically daring the universe to do what it did to her.)
Finally, in the middle of a forest clearing, Hikari found it. A large cave, with several warnings in all kinds of languages warning people not to go inside. A smirk appeared on Hikari's face. She wasn't going to turn back now, after spending several days away from civilization. She incanted a spell that created an invisible shield around her which would hopefully protect her from anything inside that would attempt to harm her. Afterwards, Hikari stepped up to the cave, found some stairs leading down, and descended into the darkness.
After it became too dim to see, Hikari held up one of her hands and cast a spell which caused an orb of light to wink into existence. The orb began orbiting Hikari's head, allowing her to see clearly. At the foot of the stairs, there was a large corridor which extended a long way in front of her. Hikari began moving slowly down the corridor, prepared for anything to happen, when all of a sudden...
