This choice: Forest: Kairi is lost at the heart of an enchanted forest! • Go Back... Slowly opening her eyes Kairi looked around. She was lying on a lawn surrounded by a pretty big trees. Behind them she saw more trees, so Kairi assumed that she was transferred to a forest. She stand up and immediately noticed purple book and the ring still on her finger, so she could teleport to home. Kairi quickly found array that teleported her and land ring on her finger in the center. But nothing happens.
"What? Maybe if I try another arrays..." - she tried another diagram, but again nothing happened. The girl tried different arrays with ring on different fingers next few minutes, but then she gave up.
"Well, looks like I have to go on my own..." - she said to herself. First of Kairi decided look around, she was a mage, maybe the best at least for her age, so she doesn't need to climb on the tree, a simple spell of levitation and she was flying over the trees.
First thing that young mage noticed that it was very big forest lasting far from where she was, then on the hill she saw a castle, well more precisely it was ruins of a castle. Opposite these ruins she notice a smoke, looks like there were a village. And Kairi was right in the middle between the ruins and the village. Looks like that's all interesting that she could see from above, so Kairi went down to the ground, as that spell was draining her magic pretty quickly.
"Hi there!" - Kairi quickly turned around to the voice. There she saw a figure, it was white and somewhat transparent and have humanoid form, that's all that she could tell about this creature just looking at it.
"W-who are you?" - our mage weren't superstitious, she knew that spirits aren't souls of dead, they're like golems artificial magic creatures, any powerful enough mage can create them.
"Oh, I'm just a Guide on the Trial."
"A Trial?"
"You don't know? You seems powerful enough and you have a Master's book... so you must pass the Trial to prove that you're deserve to be a Lipromancer's apprentice."
"And if I don't want?" - though Kairi wanted to meet this Lipromanser and ask few questions.
"Well, you have no choice, once you get in this forest you couldn't get out!"
Kairi turns around to go away but moment later she turned again.
"Erm, can you give any advice?"
"Hmm, oh, you must go to Master's castle and there you'll understand what to do next."
"Thanks for very 'useful' advice." - mumbled Kairi and walked away.
"Oh, wait! Here is a curse and a blessing hat helps you on the trial!" - said spirit. But before the girl could turn around the Guide slapped her butt.
"Hey, hands off pervert!" - shouted blushed mage ready to send that spirit to the hell, but it already disappeared. So young mage have nothing to here, she decide to go away before any other perverted spirits appeared. Well, she have only two options: Kairi could go straight to the ruins and probably quickly deal with this, or she could go to the village to get some information, and food, as she only now realise how hungry she is.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
